Sectionals

October 30-31 | Fort Wayne, IN | Record: 4-2 Tourney Champs: Indiana

Going into regionals, there were 4 teams that really had a shot, and 3 spots to go to regionals. The weekend started out rough with two losses against really good Purdue, and Indiana Teams. KULT bounced back with a couple of wins between Saturday and Sunday to set up a winner take all game against Notre Dame to finish the tournament. After a back and forth game it came down to Universe Point. The KULT O-Line converted cleanly and Kentucky secured their spot in Regionals, while also sending rival Notre Dame, home.

Regionals

November 13-14 | Holland, MI | Record: 4-3 Tourney Champs: Michigan

KULT went into regionals, having never finished better than 8th. The weekend started with a tough game against Michigan, resulting in a loss. KULT bounced back with a couple wins and finished Saturday at 2-2, securing a spot in the championship bracket on Sunday. To start bracket play, KULT had a matchup against University of Chicago to keep their tournament hopes alive. After yet another hard fought game, KULT was able to pull out a win against the higher seeded Chicago team. This set up a matchup with a really good Illinois team. Unfortunately at this point, KULT was gassed and just couldn't compete with a team who ultimately ended up going to nationals. Nonetheless, KULT finished regionals with a 4th place finish, and by far their best ever season placement in the Great Lakes Regional.
