Romp in the Swamp

November 19-20 | Chattanooga, TN

Record: 5-2 (3rd Overall)

Tournament Champs: UTC Alum

For the final tournament of the fall season Kult went down to Chattanooga to compete in Romp in the Swamp. A solid Saturday left Kult 3-1, and in the championship bracket. Starting off with Tennessee, we got off to a slow start, but quickly turned it on in the second half and pulled out the win. In Semi's we faced UTC Alum, who just had too much experience for us. We fought hard, but lost a close one. We were able to rally, and win pretty easily in the 3rd place against Auburn, who had beat us in pool play. All around, a solid final result in the last tournament of the fall.

Itchfest

October 22-23 | Nashville, TN

Record: 4-2 (5th overall)

Tourney Champs: Vandy Alum

KULT took a small roster down to Vanderbilt to compete with some solid teams at Itchfest. Although we were missing all of our senior leadership, we still had high expectations for what we could do. Saturday started with a tough Universe point loss to Vandy. We backed that up with three straight wins, in which two of them came on Universe point. Going into to Sunday, we had won our pool and had a lot of confidence. In the quarterfinals we suffered a tough loss to Union. Our lack of number had caught up to us. We got a revenge game win against Vandy to finish tournament, finishing 5th. All around a great experience for the young guys who got a ton of high pressure playing time.

September 24-25 | St. Louis, MO

Record: 7-0 (1st overall)

Tourney Champs: KULT

KULT went down to St. Louis for this seasons inaugural tournament. Bringing a roster of young and excited rookies, mixed with a solid group of vets, KULT had very high expectations for what this tournament could hold. It's safe to say that we lived up to those expectation. With signature wins vs WashU, Mizzou, and in the championship, SLU, KULT was able to secure the tournament win and start their season off with a bang!
