Regionals

Grand Rapids, MI : April 28-29, 2018 | Record: 2-3 | Tourney Champs: Northwestern


After a good season and sectional performance, the University of Kentucky KULT had the winningest performance at Regional's in team history. After starting the first game of the tournament off rough with a 0-7 start against Illinois and a heartbreaking loss on universe point to Purdue to make bracket, KULT bounced back on Sunday and won out to secure 9th place at the highest caliber tournament of our season. This 9th place finish sent our star-studded senior class out with the highest ever finish at regionals in KULT history.

Sectionals

Evansville, IN : April 21-22, 2018 | Record: 4-3 | Tourney Champs: Notre Dame


After securing easy wins against Ball State and USI, Kentucky fell by only two to each of Notre Dame and Purdue. This all came before recording the largest margin of victory against KULT's biggest inter-section rival, Indiana, in program history - beating the HoosierMama's 13-7. In bracket play, Kentucky faced Indiana for a second time and again won handily with a final score of 12-7 finishing 3rd place and a bid to Regionals for the 3rd consecutive year.

CWRUL

Columbus, OH : March 24-25, 2018 | Record: 6-1 | Tourney Champs: Notre Dame


Closely contested pool play games were highlighted by a big upset against nearby rival Cincinnati 10-9 to close off Kentucky's 3-0 run on Saturday. After getting a 1 seed in the bracket, UK coasted past West Virginia and Rochester before falling to Wisconsin-Milwaukee in the semi-finals. KULT met Cincinnati yet again in the 3rd place game where they proved their previous success wasn't a fluke. Finishing off Cincy for a second time in as many days, this time 11-8, Kentucky left Columbus with an impressive 3rd place finish on a 6-1 record.

Music City Tune-Up

Nashville, TN : February 24-25, 2018 | Record: 3-1 | Tourney Champs: CANCELED


A disappointing cancellation of Sunday's games didn't keep KULT's spirits down after their 3-1 finish on Saturday. Starting off by edging out Alabama led to a confidence displayed in 13-5 and 13-2 wins against Wooster and Toledo, respectively. The only hiccup was a 9-11 loss against a solid Georgia State team. Sunday was canceled due to rain. Boo.

T-Town Throwdown

Tuscaloosa, AL : January 20-21, 2018 | Record: 4-3 | Tourney Champs: Kennesaw State


Kentucky started their season with a disappointing loss to a top tier team in Georgia Tech. After taking a 5-11 blow KULT bounced back and finished perfect in the rest of pool play upsetting Vanderbilt 12-6 and knocking off UAB and Alabama(B). On Sunday, Kentucky got past Tulane 14-12 to advance to the semifinal round, but came up short of the championship game after being defeated by future champs, Kennesaw State. In the end, Kentucky ended up taking 4th place after another meeting with Georgia Tech, but a very solid start to the 2018 season.
